Costumer Reviews
To begin with to address some of the comments from other reviewers... For the guy who stated there is no yaw trim adjustment on the TX - check out the little thumbwheel on the correct side of the TX, there is your trim adjustment. For the guy who couldn't charge from pc USB, mine charges just fine utilizing the USB cable that came with the S110g.
I have 4 other Syma 3-ch helicopters, the S107g, S108g, S111g, and the S026g. All flew superb correct out of the box. Not so with the S110g. Initial flight the helicopter took off, I readily trimmed out the yaw, and it flew for a few seconds before exhibiting a negative case of TBE (toilet bowl effect). It smashed into the wall and 2 parts came off. At very first I couldn't tell where the parts came from but they were the covers for the LED lights and just snapped back into place no predicament. TBE is NOT when the helicopter rotates around the key rotor axis, that is yaw and that is what the trim manage takes care of. TBE is when the helicopter swirls about in a huge circle like it is getting flushed down the toilet although attempting to hover. A little internet looking revealed the attainable causes - either a binding flybar or binding upper rotor hub hinges on hinged-blade machines like the Symas. My flybar wasn't binding and the hinges seemed OK, but as an experiment I employed a jeweler's screwdriver to meticulously loosen the upper blade mounting screws by 1/4 turn, just in case they had been a small tight. Couldn't hurt. Then went for a test flight and the TBE was totally cured! Now it flies fully stable and is as responsive as any of its bigger brothers.
So aside from the tiny TBE predicament that was very easily fixed (and by fixing it I learned a lot about how these tiny guys work) it's a cool small helicopter and amazingly compact.
I bought the Heli for $18.45 and its a great deal. It charges particularly rapidly and flies highly stable. It goes forward and back very quickly. The heli is quite small but rather robust. Its also educational due to the fact I learned how helicopters operate! The Wings are rather strong and the lights it shoots out are cool. The Heli is metal with plastic on it but the plastic is quite strong. The Remote has no spring so don't forget to pull down when your landing! It has Gyro which signifies it auto - stablizes itself. My other heli, Syma s012 lasted for 4 days. I believe this heli will last with me forever!
