Costumer Reviews
Terrific tiny RC helicopter to fly indoors (does not perform nicely outside).
LED lights are highly cool to watch.
You need a tiny coordination to use the remote when flying.
Trying to manage the UP/DOWN Left/Ideal Forward/Reverse and so on. at the identical time isn't as easy as I thought. Right after countless practice flights, it becomes easier and a lot of Fun
If yours cease operating, and the bottom blades stop spinning....
Don't THROW AWAY... its nonetheless good.
The same thing happened to me, crashing into walls and objects, I thought all was lost, and the helicopter was "finished".
You just will need to acquire the tiny gear that came off, mine was stuck under the nose piece.
The impact and torque from the crashes brought on the small gear for the bottom set of blades "B", to slip off the shaft of the small motor, or mis-aligned from touching the Large sprocket gear. Take the helicopter apart, find the gear, and slip the tiny gear back into place.
See Youtube video, this was definitely helpful (search - "how to fix 339 helicopter").
Make certain you preserve all the little screws in the correct order and make confident everything is put back together the exact same way you took it apart.
Excellent Luck and happy flying!
I've only flown this one particular a couple of occasions, but it seems pretty great. And I say this right after getting tried 7 other models. I like Viefly models given that they are rather durable, and do not tend to break without difficulty...becoming that, they are lighter plastic units, but also considering they seem to be built nicely. And they are easy to manage. But they (like virtually all plastic heli's) tend to shoot-up and hit the ceiling when initial launched right after a 'full charge' due to the fact they are so light weight. So, I decided to try this metal Viefly, and so far so fine. It does tend to hit the ceiling 'sometimes' upon take-off (just soon after a complete charge), so I have to be just a tiny pre-emptive in de-throttling the controller just just after a full power take-off. But if I'm just a little careful, I can prevent that...which I can't continually stay clear of on most plastic models. And this unit's flight characteristics are nice, with good straight forward motion, and only a minimum have to have to adjust the trim from time to time. But I'll report back later as I test it a great deal more, and let you know about durability and flight duration time. The greatest part is that it isn't More than-RESPONSIVE (such as when given a slight command to turn it really is nose 'a bit left'... it does not go 'way too far' left, etc. like on other models...some even get started turning in a complete counterclockwise circle when given just a modest command to turn its nose 'left'). By the way, the webpage doesn't mention this, but it does come with a USB connector cord. As I mentioned, I'll report back more as I fly it a great deal more, but so far its one of the most stable, durable units I've flown. I've had one other a single which was even extra stable than this a single, but that 1 was so poorly constructed, the gear that turns the lower rotor fell off the motor shaft with just one bump into my cushioend couch arm. So, I'd take durability more than slightly far better flight characteristics anyday. At least, the unit will 'last' far more than one particular day.
