So, I bought a Syma S107 as a gift for a loved a single, and was so jealous I purchased myself a single. Then I purchased my father one, and my father-in-law one particular. It is a super fun little chopper and the built in gyro means you can fly it with ease.

I like it so much I wanted to compare it with one more mini helicopter and perhaps have a mini-heli duel of sorts, enter the Viefly V568.

Just prior to it arrived, a lot to my chagrin, the battery on my S107 started to go out. This was heartbreaking for two causes. Initial, I only had it a week. Second, it was very easily 1 of the coolest issues I'd purchased in years. Here's hoping that it was a fluke and the ones I gave as gifts hold up far better.

The Viefly has to be secretly made by the similar folks as the Syma S107. It has the very same remote control (only improved as the vertical stick has no spring, considerably less complicated to fly with) and the thing flys like a charm. The Viefly v568 is even even more stable than my S107, though doesn't fly forward as rapidly.

Preferred element? As of however, no batter problems.

The S107 seemed superior constructed, with it is all metal frame. But this one has tiny missiles on it, so there's that.

Really, I'd say the Syma S107 and the Viefly V568 rank about the same. I give the V568 a slight edge as I haven't had a battery problem as of yet. It is also generically military themed, if that matters to you.

This is a great little chopper, and it flies like a dream. I know every person out there says the S107 is the mini-copter to beat, and I loved mine while it worked, but the V568 appears to be each bit the helicopter in my book.

Got hooked on a toy store helicopter. Tried a few since. This a single, for an indoor, enjoyable finding out knowledge or stepping stone is wonderful!

It's the finest so far. Soon I'll be flying the huge one particular outdoors. Some recommended a simulator. I believe this goes further.
