Customer Reviews
Wonderful little RC helicopter to fly indoors (does not perform properly outside).
LED lights are very cool to watch.
You will need a small coordination to use the remote when flying.
Trying to manage the UP/DOWN Left/Proper Forward/Reverse etc. at the very same time is not as effortless as I thought. After countless practice flights, it becomes less difficult and a lot of Enjoyable
If yours cease working, and the bottom blades quit spinning....
Do not THROW AWAY... its nevertheless fine.
The very same thing occurred to me, crashing into walls and objects, I thought all was lost, and the helicopter was "completed".
You just want to get the tiny gear that came off, mine was stuck beneath the nose piece.
The impact and torque from the crashes triggered the tiny gear for the bottom set of blades "B", to slip off the shaft of the little motor, or mis-aligned from touching the Massive sprocket gear. Take the helicopter apart, find the gear, and slip the little gear back into spot.
See Youtube video, this was extremely useful (search - "how to repair 339 helicopter").
Make sure you keep all the small screws in the correct order and make positive almost everything is put back together the exact same way you took it apart.
Decent Luck and pleased flying!
I've only flown this a single a couple of instances, but it appears particularly really good. And I say this right after having tried 7 other models. I like Viefly models mainly because they are extremely durable, and do not tend to break readily...getting that, they are lighter plastic units, but also for the reason that they appear to be built well. And they are straightforward to manage. But they (like nearly all plastic heli's) tend to shoot-up and hit the ceiling when initial launched soon after a 'full charge' considering that they are so light weight. So, I decided to attempt this metal Viefly, and so far so very good. It does tend to hit the ceiling 'sometimes' upon take-off (just right after a full charge), so I have to be just a little pre-emptive in de-throttling the controller just just after a full power take-off. But if I am just a small cautious, I can steer clear of that...which I cannot at all times steer clear of on most plastic models. And this unit's flight characteristics are nice, with excellent straight forward motion, and only a minimum require to adjust the trim from time to time. But I'll report back later as I test it much more, and let you know about durability and flight duration time. The most effective part is that it isn't More than-RESPONSIVE (such as when offered a slight command to turn it really is nose 'a bit left'... it does not go 'way as well far' left, etc. like on other models...some even begin turning in a complete counterclockwise circle when offered just a little command to turn its nose 'left'). By the way, the webpage doesn't mention this, but it does come with a USB connector cord. As I stated, I'll report back more as I fly it way more, but so far its 1 of the most stable, durable units I've flown. I've had yet another one which was even additional stable than this a single, but that one was so poorly constructed, the gear that turns the lower rotor fell off the motor shaft with just one particular bump into my cushioend couch arm. So, I'd take durability more than slightly greater flight characteristics anyday. At least, the unit will 'last' alot more than a single day.
