The JXD heli flies just as well as the Syma 107's, plus it has flashing LED's that can be turned on/off with the remote on the left side button. And the correct side button controls acceleration (2 speed tail rotor), so this will fly just as slow as a Syma 107, or you can hit the button and fly quicker!
This heli comes with spare rotor blades, spare connecting rod, spare tail rotor, AND two spare motor gears!
NOTE Have had this heli fall 60ft out of a tree nonetheless NO Harm. Speedy charge it was flying fantastic once again.

I purchased this helicopter a couple of weeks ago and I'm incredibly pleased about it. It is substantially improved then other models I've noticed in action. It is fairly sturdy - I hit the walls and my desk very a handful of times although studying to fly it but it did not lead to any harm and it flies as well as before.
It is particularly stable in flight, I mean orientation-wise. It could possibly have some vertical rotation but it can be trimmed away simply from the controller. Altitude control is incredibly sensitive and prone to pilot-induced oscillations whilst you are understanding how to fly but you get applied to it following few tries.
Battery life is decent - 5 to ten min of flight with totally charged batteries. Massive plus is ability to charge from a USB port. It can be charged from the controller as nicely, but I do not use it for the reason that it drains controller batteries extremely rapid and the charge is not stable.
IR control link is particularly trustworthy. Initially I was hesitant about IR and wanted to get radio-controlled one, but this IR is not incredibly delicate to obstacles.
And LED lights are so cool! :)
IMHO, it is without a doubt worth 40 bucks
