For the brief amount of time I had this unit, I loved it. Other than needing six AA batteries, this comes ready to go out of the box. Just put the batteries in the remote, charge the 'copter and you are set. I will freely admit I am a newbie in the realm of remote control toys so I am nevertheless learning the controls. That's why I need to make it clear that what happened was not the fault of the toy, but mine. I flew the 'copter a few occasions. The controls are nicely laid out and quick to use. There is also a button on the remote to operate the video camera situated in the bottom of the 'copter. It even comes with a mini-SD card and adapter. On my third flight there was a little wind so the 'copter was beginning to drift more than to the neighbor's yard. When I tried to get it back I accidentally lowered the 'lift' lever rather than the 'reverse' lever. The rotor quickly stopped and the 'copter dropped like a stone into my neighbor's pool. With that, it was dead. Is this a surprise? Nope. Drop most any electronic device into water and it is toast. So what did I do? I ordered a different a single. It was that considerably fun and I actually want to get much more use out of it.
